DESCRIPTION:Every year on August 22nd and 23rd, the town of Pyli hosts its Religious and Commercial Fair, held in honor of the “Nine Days of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary”, celebrated at the historic church of Porta Panagia.Following the Vespers service at Porta Panagia, visitors begin to gather in the town center, gradually filling Pyli’s main street and the Ermou pedestrian zone. The vibrant atmosphere continues into the night, as crowds enjoy a wide range of entertainment and local hospitality, with cafés, bars, and grill houses offering their services generously and without pause to the multitude of guests. \n
