Hiking trail that starts from the Monastery of Agios Stefanos and ends in Kalambaka. The route lasts approximately 30′ in total. The route starts from the road that connects the Monasteries of Agios Stefanos and Triada and then descends following dirt roads and paths around the rock. The visitor has the opportunity to see the Upper Conglomerates of Meteora (Miocene age), which are composed of softer rocks (sandstones, clays, conglomerates) compared to the more compact and cohesive Lower Conglomerates that form the rocks. The stratigraphic placement of the Upper Conglomerates (softer rocks) on the Lower Conglomerates (harder rocks) and the transition between them is evident with the change in relief and the degree of erosion.<\/p>\n
