Scattered across the rock are small hermitages and monastic cells. Inside the small church, frescoes have been preserved in two layers. The most recent layer consists of 19th-century repaintings, while the older layer, of remarkable artistic quality, dates back to the late 16th or early 17th century.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, in the past, poor-quality interventions were carried out on the Hermitage of Agios Theodosios in an attempt to make it more accessible. These efforts resulted only in an unsightly appearance. To restore the monument to its original form and highlight its surroundings, the Municipality commissioned a study. Based on its findings, the inappropriate additions were removed, and the original access route to the hermitage, following the natural path, much of which remains intact, was restored and emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>Near the Monydrio, there is a beautiful and lush green area where visitors can enjoy picnics, relax, and cool off in the waters of the Ionas (Mourganis) River. Every year, in early June, this spot hosts the Annual Gathering of the People of Chasia, an event that continues to be held with great success.<\/p>\n\n\r\n        <div \r\n
