The old monastery was built in a square form around the current old church.  <\/p>\n<p>Of this monastery, which was burnt down during the German occupation, the katholikon (conventual church), a one-room, arched-roofed church inscribed inside with an interesting iconographic programme, survives today. In the katholikon there is a stone inscribed with the date 1709. The carved wooden altarpiece dates to the 18th century. Monastery was partially renovated in 2008 and a new restoration program started in 2022.  <\/p>\n\r\n        <div \r\n            class=\"wp-block-citadela-blocks ctdl-item-gallery grid-type-1
