Around fifteen elaborately decorated floats were created, with Mr. Efthymios Plakias and the Ntouvlis brothers (Dimos, Kostas, and Gogo) playing central roles. Spectators were amazed by the grandeur of the floats and the elaborate costumes worn by the participants. <\/p>\n<p>The parade began with the Carnival King and the iconic Trikala Clock float, departing from Pyli and ending in Trikala town. The celebration continued annually until 1990. In 2023, the Cultural Association of Pyli, in collaboration with the Municipality of Pyli, successfully revived the Carnival tradition, which has been held with great success ever since.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Carnival in Gomfoi\u2014a town within the Municipality of Pyli\u2014was launched in 2018, following an initiative by the Cultural Association of Gomfoi and the village youth.
