The \u201cOI GOMFOI\u201d Cultural and Educational Association, under the auspices of the Municipality of Pyli, the Region of Thessaly\u2014Trikala Regional Unit, and the Meteora -Pyli, is organizing the 4th Gomfoi Trail Race, \u201cOn the Trails of Our Ancestors,\u201d on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the wider area of the Local Community of Gomfoi, Trikala.<\/p>\n

The race routes are as follows:<\/p>\n

a) The \u201cArchaioi Gomfoi\u201d route, 19 km long with a 500-meter elevation gain.
\nb) The \u201cPhilip II\u201d route, 7 km long with a 100-meter elevation gain.
\nc) \u201cKarpios Dionysos\u201d 1,000-meter route for our young friends and athletes.<\/p>\n

Registration is limited to 300 participants per race. Payment can be made directly by credit\/debit card at the time of registration or by bank deposit. <\/p>\n

The registration fee is:<\/p>\n

15\u20ac for the 19-kilometer route.
\n12\u20ac for the 7-kilometer route.<\/p>\n

Group Registrations:
\nFor groups of more than 7 people, group registration is available at the following cost:<\/p>\n

13\u20ac for the 19-km route.
\n10\u20ac for the 7-km route<\/p>\n

Amenities:<\/p>\n

In the 19-km \u201cArchaioi Gomfoi\u201d race and the 7-km \u201cPhilip II\u201d race, the top three male and female finishers will be awarded a trophy. In both races, in addition to the overall standings, the following age categories will be recognized: 19\u201339 and 40+, with separate categories for men and women. All participants will receive a commemorative medal, a T-shirt, an official timing chip, and a post-race light meal. <\/p>\n
