Revival of the Prophet Elias Festival in Stournaraika

We are delighted to invite you to the revival of the historic Prophet Elias Festival in Stournaraika, which—after a long hiatus (last held in 1988)—returned in 2023 and is now being organized for the third consecutive year!
The chapel of Prophet Elias is nestled in a magical fir forest, and the celebration will take place in the beautiful forest clearing (laka), featuring a traditional folk orchestra with Christos Lozios on vocals and Ilias Tzeremes on clarinet, along with our warm local hospitality, including the famous “manestra with mutton”.
