4th Gomfoi Trail Race 2026
The “OI GOMFOI” Cultural and Educational Association, under the auspices of the Municipality of Pyli, the Region of Thessaly—Trikala Regional Unit, and the Meteora -Pyli, is organizing the 4th Gomfoi Trail Race, “On the Trails of Our Ancestors,” on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the wider area of the Local Community of Gomfoi, Trikala.
The race routes are as follows:
a) The “Archaioi Gomfoi” route, 19 km long with a 500-meter elevation gain.
b) The “Philip II” route, 7 km long with a 100-meter elevation gain.
c) “Karpios Dionysos” 1,000-meter route for our young friends and athletes.
Registration is limited to 300 participants per race. Payment can be made directly by credit/debit card at the time of registration or by bank deposit.
The registration fee is:
15€ for the 19-kilometer route.
12€ for the 7-kilometer route.
Group Registrations:
For groups of more than 7 people, group registration is available at the following cost:
13€ for the 19-km route.
10€ for the 7-km route

Amenities:
In the 19-km “Archaioi Gomfoi” race and the 7-km “Philip II” race, the top three male and female finishers will be awarded a trophy. In both races, in addition to the overall standings, the following age categories will be recognized: 19–39 and 40+, with separate categories for men and women. All participants will receive a commemorative medal, a T-shirt, an official timing chip, and a post-race light meal.
