
Hiking Elati – Mpeis Cave

Mpei’s Cave is located at an altitude of 1,220 meters and is a sinkhole formed by karstic erosion in limestone rock, characteristic of the geological richness of the Koziakas range. Its morphology, connection to the region’s hydrogeological system, and aesthetic value make it a significant geosite within the Meteora–Pyli Geopark.
