Walking through gorges, forests, rivers, and imposing rock formations, visitors can explore significant geosites, learn about local history, and experience authentic encounters with the natural environment. Each route is accompanied by informational material, signage, and suggestions for points of interest, while many include interactive elements such as QR codes for access to additional digital content.
Locations
This route follows the perimeter of the Malakassiotis Valley. The first half, from Kalampaka to Panagia, runs along the old Kalampaka–Ioannina National Road, while the remainder follows the local road network.
