Athamania

Athamania is a mountainous settlement in the western part of the prefecture of Trikala, near the borders with the prefectures of Ioannina and Arta.

Community of Aspropotamos

The Community of Aspropotamos includes a large forest complex, an extensive network of streams and small rivers that together form the Acheloos or Aspropotamos (from which the Community takes its name) and many imposing mountains belonging to the mountain range of southern Pindos, most of which exceed 2,000 metres in height.

Elati

Elati (also called by the locals Tyrna) of the Municipal Unit of Aitiko of the Municipality of Pyli in the Prefecture of Trikala. It is located in the southern part of the Pindos mountain range, 31 km from Trikala and 13 km from Pyli. Kalambaka

Kalambaka is located in the northwestern part of the Thessalian plain. It is built next to the rare geological phenomenon of Meteora, while the Pinios River passes close by.

Koziakas

Koziakas or Kerketio Mountain is a mountain in the prefecture of Trikala, stretching from Kalambaka to Pyli Trikala. Its ridge is bare and rocky and covered by sparse coniferous forests, meadows and scrubland. Its highest peak is at an altitude of 1.901 metres.

Neraidochori

Neraidochori (former names Veternikon and Chatzipetryon) is a mountain village in the prefecture of Trikala. It is built at an altitude of 1,140 metres on the slopes of the Koziacas and is one of the most mountainous settlements of the Mountainous Ogos of Pyli.

Paleokaria

A mountain village in the valley of Portaikos (730 m), 10 km from Pyli, 3 km from Ropoto and 35 km from Trikala.

Pertouli

Pertouli is a mountain village in the prefecture of Trikala in the municipality of Pyli. It is built at an altitude of 1,150 meters on the slopes of Koziaka. Pertouli belongs administratively to the municipality of Pyli.
