About 2.5 kilometers from Chaliki is the bridge of Filos. The stone bridge of Filos was built in 1600 by the livestock owner Michalakis Filos from Chaliki. It is a single-arch stone bridge, with an arch opening of 8 meters. Near the bridge are the remains of the Skala of Filos, also financed by Michalakis Filos. The Skala (stone path carved into the rocks) and the bridge were built to facilitate the movement of animals of the area’s livestock breeders and communication between the mountain settlement of the area. Northeast of the Filos bridge, climbing the slope and the stream, we come across the springs of Rona, the source of Aspropotamos (Acheloos).
