3ο Koziakas Trail

On Sunday, May 10, the beautiful Elati Trikala will host the 3rd Koziakas Trail, with mountain races of 25.75 km, 8 km, and 1 km races within the village for young athletes. Starting this year, the event is also included in the ITRA lists.

The mountain race on the trails of Koziaka is dedicated to saving the Egyptian vulture, the most endangered bird species in Greece! Starting and ending in Elati, the route crosses the beautiful fir forests and alpine landscapes of Koziaca, the mountain of Asclepius. The area is a mountainous tourist destination with many attractions and natural beauty spots that are well worth visiting.
