Easter 3rd Day Celebrations in Ropoto – Organized by the Cultural Association

On Easter Tuesday, the Cultural Association of Ropoto (E.M.S. Ropoto) organizes a special celebration at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Ropoto. After the Divine Liturgy, a pilgrimage to the icon of the Resurrection takes place in the church courtyard. Following this, long-standing Easter traditions of the village are joyfully revived, including:

1. Traditional Easter dances by all attendees
2. Distribution of Easter tsourekia (sweet bread) and red-dyed eggs
3. Performance of local folk dances by the Association’s dance groups, including both children and adults
