The combination of the two trails named A32 and A33 create a circular Itamos mountain which is located above the gate. The route starts from the centre of Pyli and passing by Goura and Koukourelou reaches the highest peak of Itamos at 1,132 m. The characteristic of Itamos is that it has a very good view to the whole Thessalian plain. From here, paths descend to Porte (Karditsa) and join the path network of Karditsa. The way back is to the north and ends at the Byzantine bridge of Agios Vissarion where it connects with Vlachostrata and the rest of the trails of the network.
